Importan files

- /var/etc/start.sh : start & stop script

- /var/etc/sci.ko : kernal module for newcs

- /var/tuxbox/config/newcs.xml : configuration file for newcs

- /var/keys/mg_cfg : configuration file for mgcamd

- /var/keys/newcamd_list : configuration ifre for newcamd server list(or newcs serverlist)



Installation Instruction



1. unzip include file(newcs-mgcamd-20090825.zip) to some folder



2. Using ftp or dcc's ftp copy or overwrite unzipped files to STB's "/var" folder.

ftp account is "root", and password field left as blank.



3. Reboot STB using power button.





Using newcs&mgcamd.



1. After correct installation, please check hidden menu "menu->utilities->cas->Internal Card Read off"

This operation need Rebooting STB. When you reboot STB please use Remocon power button or STB's power button.

If you reboot system with AC button, may be fail to accept this change.

- This operation make "/tmp/pmt.tmp" files. With this file mgcamd could run discrambling.



2. After app recognize smart card, newcs & mgcamd will continue to operation.



3. Menu->red button : start mgcamd, Menu->blue button : stop mgcamd.

Newcs-mgcamd will be run when STB booting.

If there are no signal, newcs-mgcamd will not auto run at STB's booting time,

in this case you must change to some other channel with signals and press red button inside Menu.

This operation will re-start newcs-mgcamd.



3. You can look newcs operation status with web browser. just like "http://192.168.10.32:8080"



4. If you do not want to run newcs and just using mgcamd. Please edit /var/etc/start.sh



from : load_device

to : # load_device



"#" will prevent newcs running.



Known bugs.

1. Some bad card insertion, app would continue to re-recognize card. this operation would make newcs bad status.

2. App can not recognize nds card, this time newcs can recognize that smart card, but because of upper reason,

newcs may not go on.

- This will be corrected when app can recoginze nds card.

3. Dreamcrypt : App can not recognize this card. but newcs can go on.

4. Iredeto : Mgcamd does not correc handling at some iredeto stream.

5. Seca : newcs.166 version some time crash with seca card recognization. in this case please use newcs.165 version.

6. nagra2 : After recognize some nagra2 card, newcs crash.

7. Smart card recognization time issue: Newcs need much time for recognization card. Please be patient when first time booting or card change.

Iredeto : about 10s

Conax : about 1s

Viaaccess : about 6s

When card insertion, newcs will be run after 5s because of app's recognization time.

Preklad a mensia uprava suborov.
Tu prilozene subory su trochu poupravene a napriklad adresar keys je aj precisteny od nepotrebnych suborov a pridany je aj subor- cakatel cccam.list . Ten este len caka na svoju prilezitost - je ho ale dobre mat pripraveny .
Pred samotnou instalaciou je potrebne prilozeny zip subor rozbalit na hdd v PC. Kopirovat do HDboxu ich budeme pomocou ftp, pricom ako komplet adresar skopirujeme /keys/ a /tuxbox/ . Z ostatnych len subory v adresaroch.
1: Najskor treba stopnut beziaci mgcamd v prijimaci. Na dialkovom stlacte Menu a modre.
2: Kopirovanie cez ftp je jednoduche - /keys/ a /tuxbox/ komplet adresar - premiestnit do /var/ v HDboxe . Atributy suborov sa nemenia.
Do /var/etc/ nam pribudnu dva subory jeden len nahradime (start.sh) a ponechame atribut 755 a druhy pridame - sci.ko -tomu priradime atribut 755. Je to pre nas sci rozhranie pre citacku, na ktore vie pristupit aj newcs.
Do adresara /var/bin/ prekopirujeme vsetky tri subory - vsetky musia mat atribut 755 - spustitelne binarky emulatorov.
Tym sme skoncili s kopirovanim.
3: Na dialkovom najskor prejdeme do Menu - CAS ,zadame 1407 a skontrolujeme ci citacka je vypnuta. Ak nie - vypneme ju a prijimac restartneme - dialkovym ovladacom, stlacenim power , nie sietovym vypinacom v zadu !!!
4: Po nastartovani stlacime Menu a cervene - tym spustime emulator. Startuje trochu dlhsie, pocas startu aj stahuje kluce .
Co je nove ?
Emulator umoznuje nahravat z dvoch tunerov a sucasne vyuzit aj PIP - teda naraz dokaze dekodovat 4 streamy.
Newcs ma aj web rozhranie na ktore sa dostaneme zadanim tejto adresy vo web prehliadaci: http://xxx.xxx.xx.x:8080 a stlacenim enter . (Namiesto xxx.xxx.xx.x. zadame skutocnu Ipadresu boxu)

V newcs (1.66 [Build: 82] ) funguje aj chameleon .
Adresar /bin/ obsahuje aj verziu newcs1.65 . Ta sa neda zvolit cez menu prijimaca . Na jej spustenie je potrebne najskor stopnut emnualtor (Menu a modre) .
Potom cez ftp premenovat existujuci newcs na napriklad old_newcs , a newcs.165 zas premenovat na newcs . Spustit potom cez DO - Menu a cerveny .
